**Position Purpose**

The Senior Marketing Manager – Skincare & Makeup is responsible for leading the marketing strategy, brand development, and commercial growth of a portfolio of prestige skincare and makeup brands.  
The role leads and develops a team of marketing professionals, providing strategic direction and ensuring strong execution across brand building, product launches, retail activations, digital marketing, consumer engagement, and omnichannel initiatives.  
Working closely with Brand, Sales, Retail Operations, E-commerce, PR, Training, Finance, and regional/global brand principals, the Senior Marketing Manager will translate global brand strategies into locally relevant plans that deliver sustainable business growth, strengthen brand equity, and achieve commercial objectives.

**Key Responsibilities  
**  
Marketing, Portfolio & Brand Strategy

-   Develop and lead the annual and long-term marketing strategy for the skincare and makeup portfolio, balancing brand equity, consumer relevance, and commercial growth.
-   Translate global and regional brand strategies into locally relevant market plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.
-   Define clear brand positioning, growth priorities, consumer strategies, and key initiatives across the portfolio.
-   Lead strategic planning and execution of new product launches, hero-product programmes, seasonal campaigns, and key brand initiatives.
-   Develop integrated 360° marketing strategies across retail, digital, social media, CRM, PR, KOL/KOC, events, and consumer engagement.
-   Identify market, consumer, and competitive insights to uncover new growth opportunities and strengthen brand differentiation.
-   Ensure consistent and compelling brand execution across all consumer touchpoints, while maintaining global brand guidelines.
-   Work closely with Brand, Sales, Retail Operations, E-commerce, PR, Training, Finance, and other functions to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies.
-   Partner with global and regional brand principals to align local priorities, launch plans, brand investments, and market development strategies.
-   Lead the development of impactful consumer campaigns, experiential activations, events, masterclasses, VIP engagement, and other initiatives that strengthen brand equity and drive business results.
-   Continuously evaluate brand and portfolio performance and adjust strategies based on market trends, consumer insights, commercial performance, and competitive activity.

Commercial & Business Leadership

-   Partner closely with Brand, Sales and Retail teams to drive sell-out, market share, productivity, and overall business growth.
-   Analyse sales, market, consumer, and channel performance to identify opportunities and risks.
-   Develop strategies to address business gaps and accelerate growth across retail, boutiques, department stores, specialty retail, and e-commerce.
-   Track marketing effectiveness and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
-   Participate actively in business reviews, budget discussions, and strategic planning with senior management.

Team Leadership & People Development

-   Lead, coach, and develop a team of Managers, Executives, and other marketing resources.
-   Set clear objectives, KPIs, priorities, and performance expectations for the team.
-   Build a high-performing, collaborative, and accountable marketing organisation.
-   Develop team members through coaching, mentoring, regular feedback, and structured development plans.
-   Identify talent strengths and create opportunities for increased responsibility and career progression.
-   Ensure effective workload distribution and resource allocation across the portfolio.
-   Foster strong collaboration between Brand, Marketing, Sales, Retail Operations, and other functions.

Retail & Omnichannel Excellence

-   Partner with Brand, Retail and Sales teams to develop compelling retail marketing strategies and activations.
-   Drive consistent brand execution across department stores, standalone boutiques, specialty retailers, and e-commerce platforms.
-   Develop strategies to maximise retail visibility, productivity, consumer experience, and conversion.
-   Support the development of new retail concepts, pop-ups, counters, boutiques, and experiential initiatives.
-   Ensure seamless integration between physical retail, e-commerce, CRM, and digital consumer journeys.

Stakeholder & Principal Management

-   Build strong relationships with regional and global brand principals.
-   Represent the local market in regional/global business and marketing discussions.
-   Manage multiple stakeholders and ensure alignment across commercial, marketing, retail, and operational priorities.
-   Negotiate and manage marketing resources, support, and investment where required.

Budget & Performance Management

-   Own and manage marketing budgets across the assigned portfolio.
-   Ensure effective allocation of A&P investment based on commercial priorities and expected returns.
-   Monitor monthly spending, forecasts, accruals, and budget utilisation.
-   Establish clear KPIs and evaluate campaign and brand performance against objectives.
-   Drive a performance-oriented culture within the marketing team.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
-   Minimum 8–10 years of relevant marketing and brand management experience, preferably within prestige beauty, luxury, FMCG, retail or consumer industries.
-   Proven experience managing multiple brands or a sizeable portfolio.
-   Demonstrated experience leading and developing a marketing team.
-   Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering business growth.
-   Experience working with international brand principals or regional/global stakeholders is highly advantageous.
-   Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing, consumer engagement, retail, digital and e-commerce.
