### Key Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage pediatric patients with neurological disorders, including:

-   Epilepsy and seizure disorders
-   Headaches and migraines
-   Developmental delays
-   Neuromuscular disorders
-   Cerebral palsy
-   Movement disorders
-   Neurogenetic conditions
-   Autism spectrum disorders with neurological concerns
-   Concussion and traumatic brain injury

-   Interpret and analyze diagnostic studies including EEGs, EMGs, MRI, CT scans, and other neurological testing.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
-   Prescribe medications and other therapeutic interventions, including transcranial magnetic stimulation, as appropriate.
-   Collaborate with pediatricians, neurosurgeons, therapists, psychologists, and other specialists to provide coordinated patient care.
-   Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prognosis, and preventive care.
-   Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
-   Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary case conferences.
-   Provide on-call coverage as assigned.
-   Stay current with advances in pediatric neurology through continuing medical education and professional development.

## Requirements

### Required Qualifications

-   Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
-   Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
-   Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Neurology
-   DEA registration and eligibility to prescribe controlled substances.
-   Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate

### Preferred Qualifications

-   Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
-   Fellowship training in epilepsy, neurodevelopmental disabilities, or physical medicine.
-   Experience with EEG interpretation and epilepsy management.
-   Experience with inpatient and outpatient pediatric neurology care.
-   Research, teaching, or clinical trial experience is a plus.

## Benefits

Schedule & Compensation

-   Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8AM – 5 PM (Part Time) 
-   Compensation: $150- $175 hourly rate based on experience  
-   Benefits: CME support
