## Description

Makowsky Ringel Greenberg is seeking a carpenter with multi-family (apartment) experience to join our corporate maintenance team. The corporate roving carpenter assists with various tasks at MRG-managed apartment communities and commercial locations. This position does **not** require overnight travel or travel outside the greater Memphis metropolitan area (includes DeSoto and Tunica counties in northwest Mississippi and Crittenden county in Arkansas).

**Skills needed:** cornice work, aristex, siding, wood rails, fences, interior trim, subfloors, tile, sheetrock, doors, and locks.

## Requirements

-   Minimum 3 years of experience
-   Knowledge of local codes  
    (Tennessee: Memphis, Collierville, Shelby county. Mississippi: Southaven, Hernando, DeSoto county, Robinsonville, Tunica county. Arkansas: Marion, West Memphis, Crittenden county.)
-   Must have the tools necessary to perform the job's duties
-   Must have reliable transportation suitable for maintenance and repair work (truck or van **required**)
-   Must have a valid driving license and proof of current automobile insurance.
-   Must pass a criminal background check, credit check, and pre-employment drug screening.
