**Duties & Responsibilities:**

• Write features using Cursor/Copilot as a pair programmer — draft with AI, review every line, fix the edge cases

• Ship to TestFlight and Play Console Internal Testing weekly

• Review your own AI-generated code like you'd review someone else's: check for bugs, security issues, and mobile-specific problems (memory leaks, accessibility, offline handling)

• Write automated tests for critical paths — XCTest for iOS, Espresso for Android

• Handle app store submissions, staged rollouts, and hotfixes

• Keep our CI green (GitHub Actions or Bitrise — your call)

• Debug production crashes from Firebase Crashlytics

• Tell us when AI tools are helping and when they're wasting your time

• Telemetry & Observability

• Integrate & Optimize Agentic Workflows

• Maintain the Prompt & Agent Infrastructure

• Expose App Features to OS Agents

• Structured Data for Multimodal AI - Implement semantic layout structures and clean metadata schemas

**30 / 60 / 90 days**

• 30: Ship first feature end-to-end. Set up your dev environment and our CI pipeline. Get to know the founder in weekly office days. Document your prompt patterns so the next hire can learn from them.

• 60: Own the release cycle. Ship bi-weekly. Set up automated tests for critical paths. First security review of our codebase.

• 90: Operating independently. Shipping weekly. You've told us which AI tools are worth paying for and which aren't. First architecture decision documented. You've helped us figure out our office day rhythm.

**What good looks like**

Ships features

• 1-2 per month (meaningful, not trivial) (measured: Project tracker)

Zero critical bugs in production

• From AI-generated code (measured: Post-mortem review)

## Requirements

• Shipped at least 5 production mobile apps (iOS and/or Android). (Publishes projects year 2024 onwards)

• Strong Swift/SwiftUI OR Kotlin/Jetpack Compose — both is ideal.

• Used Cursor, Copilot, or Claude Code daily for 6+ months.

• Can show us your prompt library or explain how you review AI output.

• Security awareness — you know what hardcoded secrets look like and you've caught real bugs in code you didn't write

• Self-directed — in a 2-person team, there's no one looking over your shoulder.

• State Management & Local Storage

• AI Tooling Reality Check - this will check if they use frontier AI coding agents and if they have experience in running Local LLM

• Advanced AI Tooling & Orchestration

• Understanding of LLM Mechanics

• On-Device LLM & Edge Deployment

o Edge AI & Quantization - Experience deploying and optimizing small language models (SLMs) on-device

o Performance & Resource Management - Deep understanding of mobile hardware constraints

**Advantageous Skills:**

• Both iOS AND Android experience.

• Flutter or React Native background with willingness to go native.

• Built apps with real-time features (WebSockets, SSE).

• Experience with on-device ML (CoreML, TensorFlow Lite).

• Open source contributions or a technical blog.

• AI Agent: Open Claw, Hermes Agent
