**Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:**

As a Senior Architectural Drafter, you will be responsible in preparing and updating shop and fabrication drawings for architectural metalwork and façade components such as balustrades, louvres, screens, handrails, and window hoods.

The role involves producing SolidWorks-based outputs and fabrication files, coordinating revisions and approvals, resolving detailing issues, and managing multiple projects to ensure accurate and timely delivery of buildable documentation.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

-   Shop drawings and fabrication drawings.

-   Architectural metalwork drafting.
-   Balustrades, louvres, perforated screens, handrails, window hoods and related products.
-   Preparing DXF and fabrication files.
-   Coordinating revisions and approvals.
-   Develop and update shop drawings using SolidWorks for fabrication and construction use
-   Produce detailed fabrication drawings to support manufacturing requirements
-   Provide drafting support for architectural metalwork packages across various project types
-   Work on multiple façade and metalwork components such as balustrades, louvres, screens, handrails, and window hoods
-   Collaborate with internal project teams to ensure alignment of design intent and project requirements
-   Revise and refine drawings based on technical feedback and coordination inputs
-   Resolve drafting and detailing issues in coordination with project stakeholders
-   Handle multiple active projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and turnaround timelines
-   Support drawing production across architectural metalwork, steel fabrication, and façade-related works as required

## Requirements

-   Minimum 5 years of drafting/detailing experience.
-   Strong SolidWorks experience.
-   Background in architectural metalwork is preferred.
-   Candidates from steel fabrication, façade, or industrial drafting backgrounds are welcome.
-   Experience supporting Australian construction projects is preferred.
-   Candidates with US, UK, or other international construction project experience will also be considered.
-   Experience with balustrades, louvres, perforated screens, handrails, or related architectural products.
-   Ability to prepare shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
-   Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
