**Company Profile:**

Our client is a F&B franchise operator bringing food brands into the local market. It currently operates four established franchises.

**Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:**

The Accountant will oversee the accounting and financial monitoring of a single-branch store. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring sales and inventory, and providing management with regular financial reports and insights.

-   Manage day-to-day accounting activities for the branch, records daily sales, meal transactions, commissary deliveries, local purchases, utilities, rentals, and other financial transactions
-   Monitor and reconcile daily sales and collections
-   Review daily sales reports from all store locations
-   Track inventory movements, stock levels, and inventory costs
-   Monitor and reconcile store inventories
-   Prepare monthly financial reports and account/bank reconciliations
-   Generate periodic financial reports for management review
-   Monitor expenses, payables, and other branch-related financial transactions
-   Identify and investigate discrepancies in sales, inventory, and cash records
-   Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
-   Manage cash and check handling, supplier payments (weekly and month-end), store fund replenishment and payroll disbursement
-   Prepare monthly tax reports, process local and national tax payments and ensure timely payroll remittances and compliance
-   Ensure compliance with company financial policies
-   Prepare financial statements and other required financial reports
-   File and organize invoices and financial documents
-   Conducts audit on cash, inventory (Weekly and mid-month) and fixed asset counts to ensure accuracy and accountability
-   Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
-   Coordinate with store managers and branch operations to ensure proper documentation, controls and financial matters
-   Provide management with financial insights and recommendations to improve branch profitability
-   Perform, Compile, record (bookkeeping), process, analyze old records for future reference and financial recording tasks.
-   Maintain accurate records using SAP system and Excel applications
-   Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
-   Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
-   Maintain communication with admin manager and managing director
-   Weekly and mid-month-end inventory check/audit — reviewing stock and inventory at the store.
-   Will occasionally travel to two branches to conduct account and inventory audits, approximately once a month or once every two months for the Cabanatuan branch.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
-   2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
-   Retail/Food Industry experience strongly preferred
-   Previous experience with Franchise operation is an advantage.
-   Experience handling sales, inventory, and store-level accounting is preferred
-   Strong knowledge of Accounting principles and Financial reporting
-   Experience in Payroll.
-   Audit experience is required, preferably involving branch operations, accounts, or inventory.
-   Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Required) and SAP Accounting software (Highly preferred but not required)
-   xperience with inventory management systems
-   Familiarity with banking applications and online portals
-   Detail-oriented and highly organized
-   Flexible and reliable
-   Excellent communication skills for coordination with store staff
-   Ability to work independently and take initiative
-   Problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities
-   CPA license is not required
