**SUMMARY OF THE POSITION**

The Senior Health Information Exchange (HIE) Technical Account Manager leads interoperability initiatives and provides strategic consulting, technical expertise, and account management services to healthcare organizations participating in HIE and digital health programs.

This role combines advanced knowledge of healthcare interoperability and integration technologies with strong relationship management and client engagement skills. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to provider organizations, EHR vendors, and other healthcare stakeholders.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Relationship Management and Consulting**

-   Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare provider organizations, health systems, EHR vendors, interoperability vendors, and strategic trading partners.
-   Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned healthcare organizations participating in HIE initiatives.
-   Engage prospective and existing participants to promote adoption, optimization, and meaningful use of HIE technologies and interoperability services.
-   Lead executive-level and operational discussions with provider organizations regarding interoperability strategy, workflow transformation, and integration opportunities.
-   Identify opportunities to expand HIE utilization, strengthen provider engagement, and improve electronic information sharing across the healthcare ecosystem.
-   Facilitate meetings, workshops, webinars, and stakeholder sessions with provider organizations, vendors, and cross-functional project teams.
-   Build collaborative relationships across clinical, operational, technical, and executive stakeholders.

**Technical HIE Consulting Expertise**

-   Provide subject matter expertise on healthcare interoperability standards and HIE technologies, including HL7, FHIR, CCD/C-CDA, ENS, and query-based exchange.
-   Conduct technical and workflow assessments to identify current-state capabilities and future-state interoperability goals.
-   Evaluate and recommend integration strategies in collaboration with provider organizations and vendors.
-   Troubleshoot interoperability and data exchange challenges and support successful technical implementations.
-   Maintain strong knowledge of federal and state HIE priorities and standards, and statewide health initiatives that will be supported by the use of health information exchange
-   Collaborate with colleagues to identify issues, trends and opportunities to promote health information exchange and digital health initiatives, and provide interoperability expertise to projects as needed

**Project Management**

-   Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
-   Develop project documentation, workflow diagrams, implementation guides, presentations, and status reports
-   Maintain project activity and stakeholder communications within CRM and project management tools.

## Requirements

**Experience**

-   5+ years of experience in healthcare technology, interoperability, HIE, or health IT consulting.
-   Experience managing healthcare technology projects and client relationships.
-   Strong background in EHR and HIE implementations preferred.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**

-   Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards, healthcare workflows, and integration technologies.
-   Excellent communication, presentation, relationship management, and consulting skills.
-   Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
-   Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
-   Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
-   Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-   Ability to work collaboratively across technical, operational, and executive teams.
-   Experience with CRM, project management tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

**This position requires candidates to be able to work at our Westborough, Massachusetts office at least two days per week. This is not a fully remote position.**

**The salary range for this position is $83K - $95K annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s background, skills, and internal equity.**

**Attend offsite and inter‑office meetings as required, including travel between Boston and Westborough office locations. Some work locations and meeting sites may not be accessible by public transportation.**
