## Description

### **Job Role**

The Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading and supporting the sales team to achieve sales targets, maximize revenue, and ensure excellent customer service. The role oversees daily sales operations, monitors performance, provides coaching, and ensures the effective execution of sales strategies in line with company goals. The Sales Supervisor also maintains strong relationships with key customers and contributes to expanding market presence.

### **Accountabilities**

-   Supervise, guide, and support the sales team to achieve individual and team sales objectives.
-   Monitor daily sales activities and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
-   Develop and implement sales plans, routes, and strategies to increase market share.
-   Track sales performance, analyze reports, and identify areas for improvement.
-   Conduct regular field visits with sales representatives to ensure proper execution.
-   Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
-   Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
-   Ensure proper merchandising, product availability, and visibility in assigned markets.
-   Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely product delivery.
-   Train and develop sales staff on products, sales techniques, and customer service.
-   Prepare sales forecasts, monthly reports, and competitor analysis.
-   Support management in developing promotional activities and pricing strategies.
-   Oversee collection of payments and ensure credit policies are followed.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications & Knowledge**

-   Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
-   Strong knowledge of sales processes, market dynamics, and customer relations.

### **Experience**

-   3–5 years of experience in sales, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.
-   Experience in FMCG, retail, distribution, or related industries is a plus.

### **Skills & Competencies**

-   Strong leadership and team management skills.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
-   Proven negotiation and closing skills.
-   Analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data.
-   Strong customer service orientation.
-   Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
