## Description

We're looking for an Application Engineer who

-   will be the maestro of our product, ecosystem 💪
-   will help some of the biggest OEM’s to launch their vehicles with our products
-   Will lead a team which will integrate our advanced electronics products into customer’s ecosystem
-   will have decision making authority on which products/platforms will suit customer requirements
-   will build great CXO relationships and technical connections with customers and will help Maxwell develop future products
-   will ensure Maxwell remains a customer centric company
-   will ensure projects meet customer requirements and quality standards
-   Be the primary link between our end customers & the product development team
-   Go on product recommendation calls & help customers identify the right Maxwell product for their end application
-   Understand customers' systems & identify custom requirements
-   Know the Maxwell Products & Ecosystem(the companion apps + cloud) better than anyone else at Maxwell
-   Work hand in glove with key customers to train, counsel & enable them to use our products
-   Resolve queries & issues faced during product integration to take customers into start of production
-   Perform field visits to expedite resolution of critical issues or activation of the product
-   Create & Maintain 'high-standards' customer facing technical/non-technical documentation
-   Mentor junior application engineers

## Requirements

-   Experience in EV electronics

-   Experience in embedded system engineering, digital/analog electronics
-   Hands on experience in CAN,J1939, SPI, Embedded C, JSON
-   Good understanding of Automotive regulation applicable to electronics (AIS, ISO, IEC)
-   Good communication and analytical skills
-   Requirement elicitation and technical negotiation skills
-   A keen eye towards what it takes to create win-win situations with customers
-   Ability to collaborate and work with multiple cross functional stakeholders internally and externally
-   Go-getter
-   Experience in batteries/BMS/Charger/Motor control/power electronics
-   Experience in leading a team/mentoring
-   Knowledge of functional Safety, UL
-   Experience: 3+ years
