May Designs began when graphic designer Mica May dreamed up an idea for the perfect notebook. Something fashionable yet functional that could easily fit in a purse - a notebook that would be durable to stand the wear and tear of every day scribbles. She began designing patterns + inside pages for herself and people began taking notice of her signature notebooks. She launched a website, and several years later the company that started in her living room has grown to be one of Oprah's favorite things, and has been featured on the Today Show and Good Morning America.
In the past six years, the growing Austin, Texas-based design studio has expanded beyond just notebooks into stationery, fashion, folios, and more!
