## Description

We aspire to offer engaging and informative learning experiences for MAC participants. We’re looking for skilled artists and craftspeople who enjoy teaching and sharing their knowledge.

We offer beginner and intermediate classes in woodworking (both functional and artistic) and home repair (electrical, plumbing, etc.). We are also open to offering other arts and crafts classes to the community. Our classes typically include one or two sessions, each lasting three to four hours.

Demonstrated proficiency in subject matter.

Passion for helping diverse groups of people gain new skills and confidence.

Strong knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to lift tools and equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.

## Benefits

Instructors are engaged as independent (1099) contractors. Typical compensation for teaching a three-hour class (including prep time and workshop clean-up) is $180. Additional compensation is provided to artists who develop their own class content and instructional methods.
