**Coastal NSW | August 2026 Start**

A fantastic opportunity is available for an **Emergency Department SRMO** to join a busy and supportive **regional hospital** commencing **August 2026**. Interviews are **currently being scheduled**, and we are keen to speak with suitable doctors.

This **district-level hospital** provides a wide range of services including emergency medicine, general medicine, surgery, obstetrics, and mental health, serving a rapidly growing coastal population.

You will work within a **supportive multidisciplinary team alongside experienced FACEMs, registrars and nursing staff**, with strong senior supervision and opportunities to further develop procedural and clinical decision-making skills. The role provides excellent preparation for doctors planning to pursue **ACEM training or further critical care experience**.

### Key Responsibilities

• Assess, stabilise and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department  
• Perform clinical procedures including suturing, plastering, airway management and resuscitation  
• Work collaboratively with consultants, registrars and multidisciplinary teams  
• Participate in a rotating roster including evenings, nights and weekends  
• Maintain accurate documentation and clinical handover

### Requirements

• **MBBS or equivalent qualification**  
• **AHPRA General Registration or supervision level 3+**  
• Minimum **2–3 years postgraduate clinical experience**  
• Previous **Emergency Department experience preferred**  
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
