Ensure that the event venue is prepared to receive the public; greet, assist and provide for the safety of patrons; assist performing artists as needed; and enforce all house policies.

**This is considered a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position. The minimum starting rate for the position is 14.95 per hour.**

**Core Responsibilities:**

-   Arrive on time and report to the House Manager.
-   Assist with pre-show tasks such as printing programs, setting up chairs, and completing the crowd management pre-show safety checklist.
-   Accept tickets or hand out programs to patrons at the door.
-   Show patrons to their seats.
-   Enforce House policies.
-   Be available to assist patrons with questions regarding venue resources and program details.
-   At end of performance, clear venue of programs and other items left behind and assist house manager and/or performing artist as needed.
-   Complete event report forms after each performance.

## Requirements

-   Understanding of performance etiquette preferred.
-   Crowd Management certification required.
-   Must be able to understand and speak English clearly and articulately.
-   Must be 100% reliable, courteous, and assertive.
-   Interest or experience in music, dance, or theatre a plus.
-   Able to work independently.

**Physical Demands & Working Conditions:**

This position requires working outdoors in the summer; lifting, carrying, and setting up folding chairs and music stands; and walking the grounds to assist patrons.
