## Description

Mira Group is seeking an exceptional **Head of Legal** to lead the Group’s legal function and provide strategic, commercially focused legal leadership across its businesses and development activities.

This is a senior leadership position for a **high-calibre lawyer with significant development experience**, ideally someone who has worked closely with real estate, property development, construction, investment, joint ventures, acquisitions, financing and complex commercial transactions.

The successful candidate will not simply act as a legal adviser. They will be expected to operate as a **business partner to the leadership team**, identify legal and commercial risks early, structure transactions effectively, protect the Group’s interests and build a scalable legal function.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Lead all legal matters relating to real estate development and investment.
-   Advise on land acquisitions, development structures, JVs, investments and financing.
-   Lead negotiation of major development, construction and commercial agreements.
-   Manage legal due diligence for acquisitions and investments.
-   Oversee disputes, claims and external legal counsel.
-   Advise the CEO, Board and senior management on legal and commercial risks.
-   Build and lead an effective in-house legal function.
-   Establish strong legal governance, contracts and risk-management processes.

## Requirements

-   **Strong, hands-on real estate development experience is essential.**
-   Proven experience with major development projects, acquisitions, JVs and investments.
-   Strong construction and commercial contracting experience.
-   Experience handling complex negotiations and disputes.
-   UAE/GCC experience strongly preferred.
-   Proven ability to advise CEOs, Boards, shareholders and investors.
-   Strong leadership, negotiation and commercial judgement.
-   Excellent English; Arabic is an advantage.
-   Qualified lawyer with a recognised legal qualification/bar admission.
