## Description

We are looking for a **Structural Engineer** to join our construction team in the UAE.

The ideal candidate will have **at least 2–3 years of hands-on structural engineering experience in the UAE**, with strong knowledge of structural design, site execution, drawings, inspections and coordination with consultants and contractors.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a construction/project environment and be able to coordinate effectively with site teams, consultants and other disciplines.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Review and interpret structural drawings, specifications and technical documents.
-   Monitor structural works at site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
-   Coordinate with consultants, contractors and site teams regarding structural works.
-   Conduct site inspections and identify structural issues or discrepancies.
-   Review structural calculations, shop drawings and method statements where required.
-   Coordinate structural design requirements with architectural, MEP and other disciplines.
-   Provide technical support to the construction team during execution.
-   Identify and resolve structural issues arising during construction.
-   Monitor the quality and progress of structural works.
-   Assist with preparation and review of RFIs, technical submissions and other project documentation.
-   Ensure structural works are executed in accordance with applicable UAE standards, approved drawings and project specifications.
-   Participate in meetings with consultants, contractors and project stakeholders.
-   Maintain proper documentation and records related to structural works.

## Requirements

-   **Minimum 2 years of hands-on Structural Engineering experience in the UAE is mandatory.**
-   Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
-   Strong understanding of reinforced concrete and/or structural steel construction.
-   Practical knowledge of structural drawings, detailing and site execution.
-   Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors and site teams.
-   Ability to identify and resolve structural issues on site.
-   Good knowledge of construction methods and structural engineering principles.
-   Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
-   Knowledge of structural analysis/design software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro or similar is preferred.
-   Experience working on residential, commercial or high-rise construction projects in the UAE.
-   Experience dealing with UAE consultants and authorities.
-   Familiarity with UAE construction standards, specifications and approval procedures.
-   UAE engineering accreditation/registration will be an advantage.
-   Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
-   Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary construction team.
