_We're on the lookout for an experienced and confident Project Manager to oversee planning and delivery of piling works on our diverse range of projects._

**About the role**

As Project Manager - Piling, you'll own the planning and commercial delivery of all piling works. You'll turn tenders into clear programs, control margins - and keep piling jobs on time, on budget and properly documented. Key areas of responsibility include:

**Planning & Programming (Piling-specific)**

-   Take awarded piling packages (hand piling + rigs + basement piles) & turn them into realistic, detailed programs
-   Sequence rigs, hand-piling crews & support teams
-   Work with Estimating & Head of Rigging/Superintendent to sanity-check rig choice, access & methodology, production assumptions
-   Translate tenders into clear, detailed plans

**Commercial Control**

-   Own job budgets for all piling scopes, from start to finish
-   Track labour, plant, materials & subcontractor vs tender costs
-   Capture, price & document variations (scope changes, ground conditions, design changes)
-   Support GM with monthly job reviews and close-outs

**Coordination & Leadership**

-   Direct and support junior PMs/project coordinators on piling jobs
-   Point of contact for builders/clients on program, scope & cost once job is live
-   Turn high-level direction from GM/Directors into simple, actionable instructions

**Risk, Safety & Quality**

-   Implement piling specific, risk-management strategies
-   Ensure safety, environmental & quality requirements are planned and priced
-   Work closely with supervisors & superintendent on continual improvement

## Requirements

**About You**

Must have:

-   Solid experience as a Project Manager or strong Project Engineer delivering piling works, eg: CFA, bored piers, retention/shoring, and basement foundations
-   Strong understanding of production rates for rig crews
-   Demonstrated experience building & running programs for multiple concurrent jobs
-   Proven commercial skills:

-   Job budgeting and cost tracking
-   Variations (identification, documentation, pricing)
-   Margin protection and productivity tracking

-   Solid WHS understanding in high-risk environments
-   Confident with drawings & turning them into staging & sequencing
-   Clear, direct communication – deal with directors, GM, estimators, supervisors & rig teams without drama

Nice to have:  

-   Experience with full basement packages (piling + excavation interface)
-   Experience working with a Head of Rigging/Superintendent or similar role
-   Familiarity with project management tools & construction apps
