**About the role**

Based in our Banksmeadow office, you'll play a crucial role in our office team of 5, ensuring our high-end residential projects are accurately priced.

Oversee and lead our estimating function, manage our current estimator and collaborate closely with the team to deliver precise, timely quotes that help secure new business and ensure smooth project handovers.

You'll be responsible for estimating costs of formwork, concrete placing and finishing and steel fixing services, from architectural and structural designs. Your expertise will help us maintain our reputation for quality and reliability.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Lead our estimating function across all residential projects
-   Prepare accurate & detailed cost estimates for formwork, concrete placing & steel fixing
-   Use take-off & estimation software to quantify materials & labour
-   Review architectural & structural drawings to determine scope
-   Develop budgets aligned with client needs & business goals
-   Manage & oversee the quoting process
-   Collaborate with project managers & builders for accurate scope definition
-   Maintain and develop strong relationships with all stakeholders
-   Identify risks & propose mitigation strategies for pricing & delivery
-   Track market trends, material costs & labour rates to ensure competitive pricing
-   Support process improvement across estimating & pre-construction
-   Represent the company professionally with all stakeholders

## Requirements

What are we looking for

-   Proven experience specifically in formwork estimation and take-offs is essential

-   Proficient in take-off software, estimation software and Microsoft Office

-   Experience using Procore is highly advantageous.

-   Strong understanding of construction processes, materials and cost estimation techniques
-   Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
-   Strong communication and negotiation skills
-   Experience leading and mentoring others
-   Ability to manage and oversee the entire quoting process
-   Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
-   Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
