**Workplace:** hybrid

**Department:** Marketing & Commercial

## Description

**Who we are**

We are a rapidly growing pan-European digital wealth manager, serving over 167,000 active investors with more than £5.5 billion invested on our platform. We began in Milan in 2011 with the purpose to help more people improve their financial well-being by making personal investing simple and accessible through technology. Fast forward to today, and we are recognised as one of the most innovative fintechs, headquartered in the heart of London.

With a team of 220+ people across 4 offices in Italy and the UK, we are proudly backed and funded by major partners including Poste Italiane, Cabot Square Capital, United Ventures, and Allianz.

**Our vision**

Our vision is to combine passion, expertise, and technology to provide best-in-class investment solutions and advice that protects and grows client wealth over time.

**Our Core Values:**

We’ve built our business on three Principles:

- Relationships are our first asset: We’re one team, built on trust, honesty, and transparency. We value our relationships above all else.
- Trust drives success: We give each other the space to grow. We empower our employees to succeed, so they can make a real impact.
- Our customers dream big, just like us: We see the bigger picture and we make sure our customers see it, too. We’re always focused on the best outcomes for our clients and for each other, no matter what the goal, or how big the dream

**What this means in practice:**

At Moneyfarm, our success comes from the impact each of us makes. We move with purpose, urgency, and ambition, focused on delivering outcomes that matter for our clients and our business. Everyone is empowered to take ownership, challenge the status quo, and turn bold ideas into results. As we evolve, we embrace AI as a catalyst for sharper thinking, smarter decisions, and even greater impact.

Our diversity makes this possible. Different perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences fuel our creativity and drive better decisions — it’s our competitive edge. We value people for who they are and their unique strengths: that's why we offer flexible ways of working to support them in doing their best work.

**About the role**

We are looking for a hands-on and autonomous CRM Marketing Specialist to design, execute and optimise our multi-channel customer communications and marketing automation strategy, with a primary focus on our Pension business vertical.

The ideal candidate is fully comfortable working across email, push notifications and in-app messages, owns end-to-end automations, and can lead CRM projects by coordinating stakeholders across Product, Data, Marketing and the Pension team. They are naturally curious about tools and technology, quick to pick up new platforms independently, and comfortable getting hands-on with technical systems rather than relying only on formal training.

Reporting to the CRM Manager, this role sits within the CRM function, part of the wider Marketing function. While a member of the central CRM team, your daily activities and deliverables will be dedicated to the Pension vertical, working closely with the Pension team. You will also work alongside the wider CRM team on the overall engagement and lifecycle strategy for both customers and prospects, ensuring your work is aligned and coordinated with broader CRM initiatives.

You will own the multi-channel customer communication strategy and its delivery for the pension business, across the UK and Italy. Being a key role for the Pension business, you will provide challenge and input for the overall product strategy as part of a focused team.

You will work in a highly data-driven environment, using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SQL and advanced segmentation logic to drive conversion, retention and lifetime value across our products.

### Key Responsibilities

- Design, execute and optimise multi-channel CRM campaigns across email, push notifications and in-app messages to drive acquisition, activation, retention, upsell and cross-sell for Pension products.
- Contribute, together with the CRM team, to the overall engagement and lifecycle strategy for customers and prospects, ensuring consistency and alignment across verticals.
- Own the full lifecycle of marketing automations, from ideation and data modelling to build, testing, go-live and performance monitoring, with meticulous attention to detail at every stage to avoid errors reaching customers.
- Drive advanced audience segmentation and personalisation based on behavioural, transactional, financial and demographic data, ensuring the right message reaches the right customer at the right time.
- Use data and analytics to measure performance, prioritise optimisation efforts, and continuously improve through A/B testing and post-campaign analysis — approaching work as strategic decisions, not just tasks to execute.
- Work autonomously while coordinating cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Data, Content, Investment Advisory and Pension), actively contributing in meetings and discussions rather than just executing.
- Develop strong knowledge of Pension products (Profile Pension, SIPP, PIP) and act as the go-to CRM point of contact for Pension-related queries and initiatives.
- Contribute to the CRM roadmap, proposing new use cases and automation opportunities aligned with Pension business priorities.
- Translate business needs into technical CRM requirements, working closely with Data and Product teams.
- Ensure full GDPR compliance and best practice in customer data management.
- Act as an internal CRM and marketing automation expert, keeping up to date with industry trends and AI-driven solutions.

## Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing or marketing automation.
- Financial services or fintech experience, ideally with exposure to pensions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, specifically Data Extensions, Journey Builder, Content Builder, Automation Studio, CloudPages, etc.
- Good knowledge of SQL for data extraction, segmentation and campaign logic.
- Fluency in English is essential (most stakeholders are UK-based).

### Skills

- Solid grasp of financial products and the ability to quickly learn and retain complex product knowledge.
- Proven ability to work autonomously on complex projects, owning issues end-to-end rather than escalating what should be resolved directly.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, segmentation and campaign logic, along with working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email and campaign build.
- Experience with AI tools applied to marketing automation, content generation or predictive modelling.
- Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Highly analytical, data-driven mindset with strong decision-making and strategic judgment.
- High attention to detail and strong personal QA discipline, with low tolerance for recurring errors.
- Demonstrated proactivity and engagement — someone who follows up, flags risks early, and doesn't need repeated prompting.
- Excellent communication skills.

### Nice to Have

- Experience with predictive scoring models (churn, cross-sell, propensity, etc.).
- Experience conducting user or market research to inform CRM strategy and campaign decisions.
- Ability to draft effective marketing copy.
- Fluent in Italian.
