## Description

Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated **Stormwater Engineer** to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for **designing, analyzing, and managing stormwater systems** to meet regulatory standards and client needs. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to **develop sustainable and efficient stormwater management solutions.**

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   **Design stormwater management systems** including detention facilities, **drainage networks**, and **erosion and sediment control plans.**
-   Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to evaluate the effects of stormwater and design mitigation measures.
-   Review and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal stormwater regulations.
-   Prepare construction documents, cost estimates, and technical reports related to stormwater projects.
-   Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams throughout project lifecycle.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in **Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering required**
-   Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
-   Proficiency with stormwater design and modeling software such as **AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, SWMM**
-   Knowledge of Maryland and regional stormwater regulations and permitting processes.
-   Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
-   Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
