> Movement Labs · United States (Remote) · — · Posted 2026-06-12

**Workplace:** remote

**Department:** Core

## Description

Movement Labs is an incubator and consulting firm that uses technology, data, and experimentation to stop fascism and build progressive power. We help progressives win and defeat MAGA extremists through year-round work grounded in research and real-world testing. Our team partners with leading advocacy groups, grassroots organizers, and electoral campaigns to develop innovative tactics, win elections, and shift power for the long term.

As the R&D powerhouse for the progressive movement, we’ve run over 100 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on voter behavior and helped hundreds of organizations increase their impact. We work hard, and the environment evolves rapidly. We are adaptable, nimble, and shift quickly as needed to meet the moment. We are looking for candidates that thrive in this type of environment.

**Role Overview:**

We are seeking a highly analytical operator to help manage the performance, reliability, and accountability of our high-volume messaging programs.

This role sits at the intersection of data, operations, compliance, vendor management, and program execution. You will build reporting systems that help us understand how our messaging programs are performing, identify delivery or compliance risks before they become major issues, coordinate operational responses when problems arise, and maintain source-of-truth analytics that help our teams make decisions at pace.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter and a builder, comfortable leveraging technical tools and AI to work with messy operational data, vendor reporting, compliance constraints, and fast-moving program teams. They can move between detailed analysis and practical execution: building dashboards and alerting, answering urgent questions with data, coordinating incident response, and turning lessons learned into system changes.

This role is fully remote. This is a temporary hire for the 2026 election cycle that will run from **ASAP to November 15, 2026**.

### Responsibilities

**Reporting & Analytics**

- Build and maintain dashboards tracking key metrics and performance trends over time.
- Develop alerting that identifies delivery issues, error spikes, vendor disruptions, or other operational risks in real-time.
- Maintain regular reporting cadences for leadership, program teams, client-facing teams, compliance, and operations.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses for leadership and program teams. Pull and analyze data from a wide range of internal datasets to answer operational and strategic questions.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate analysis into concrete recommendations for program execution, vendor usage, compliance risk management, and operational planning.

**Quality Control & Operations**

- Help identify and manage operational risk before and during major execution windows. Coordinate planning for load tests, peak-period outreach, and other high-volume messaging moments.

- Gather supporting data, document timelines, and help prepare communications when messaging issues arise.
- Run post-incident reviews to identify root causes, lessons learned, and follow-up actions. Convert incident learnings into process changes, documentation updates, reporting improvements, or new controls.

**Vendor Management**

- Maintain a current view of vendor and aggregator capabilities, pricing, throughput, reliability, support quality, and performance across program types.
- Coordinate testing to understand vendor strengths, limitations, and best-fit use cases.
- Support decisions about vendor selection, renewals, additions, migrations, and routing strategy.
- Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve performance.

**Documentation & Institutional Knowledge**

- Create and maintain documentation on what works and what doesn’t work, keeping them current as the landscape shifts and more data is generated.
- Track changes in the messaging ecosystem, including vendor, carrier, and regulatory developments that may affect program execution.
- Help ensure that knowledge from one campaign, incident, or cycle is captured and reused across the organization.

## Requirements

- 4–7 years in Analytics or Operations (BizOps / RevOps / CS) at a tech company or campaign / political / advocacy organization.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with program, product, or campaign data using common tools (Google Sheets/Excel/Airtable, business intelligence platforms, and/or SQL, Python, etc.).
- Experience bridging communications gaps between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working directly with third-party vendors.
- Genuine commitment to the mission of stopping fascism and building progressive power, and comfort operating on a political calendar.
- Strongly preferred: Experience with AI-enabled development.

## Benefits

- Total compensation package equivalent to **$91,875 - $105,875** annualized.

- This includes a base salary of $85,000-$99,000 (Level 3 or Level 4 according to experience), a $5,000 end-of-cycle bonus, and a worklife stipend of $1,875 in pre-tax reimbursement to support employees during our highest intensity work period.

- Temporary, full-time position with paid holiday and accrued sick time.
- Remote-first culture with teammates across the country.
- This position is temporary and will run through November 15.
- This position is not eligible for the collective bargaining unit.
