**About the Role**

The Ticket to Work program helps Social Security disability beneficiaries prepare for, find, and keep employment. As a Beneficiary Support Specialist, you're the front line — the person beneficiaries and service providers reach when they have questions about the program. You'll handle inquiries by phone, email, and mail, update records, and process routine requests with accuracy and empathy.

**COMPENSATION: Starting at $17.00 per hour.**

**What You'll Do**

-   Respond to beneficiary and provider inquiries by phone, email, and written correspondence
-   Explain program information clearly to callers with a wide range of communication needs
-   Update and maintain accurate records across multiple systems
-   Process routine service requests within established timeframes
-   Escalate complex cases to the appropriate team
-   Meet quality and productivity standards

## Requirements

-   High school diploma or one year of work experience
-   Customer service experience, ideally in a contact center, benefits, healthcare, or government services environment
-   Strong verbal and written communication
-   Comfort navigating multiple software systems while assisting a caller
-   Patience and genuine empathy — many callers are navigating disability, financial stress, or complex program rules
-   Reliable internet and a quiet, dedicated workspace (remote role)

**Nice to Have**

-   Experience with SSA programs, disability services, vocational rehabilitation, or benefits administration
-   Bilingual (English/Spanish)
