**🎯Join our SAP Transformation practice and **take ownership of data migration** across complex, **international SAP S/4HANA projects**.

As an **SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Lead,** you will shape the migration strategy, establish the delivery approach and lead the workstream from initial planning through testing, cutover and go-live. You will work directly with senior client stakeholders, business leaders, functional teams and technical experts across multiple countries.

This is a senior consulting role **for someone who wants to move beyond individual migration activities** and **influence how large-scale SAP transformations are designed and delivered.**

**Your future role**

-   **Own the end-to-end data migration** workstream **within SAP S/4HANA implementation** and conversion programmes.
-   **Define the migration strategy**, roadmap, scope, governance model and delivery approach.
-   **Lead migration activities** across the Explore, Build, Test, Cutover and Go-Live phases.
-   Coordinate data profiling, extraction, transformation, mapping, loading, validation and reconciliation.
-   Plan and oversee migration cycles, mock migrations, dress rehearsals and production cutover.
-   **Establish quality controls** covering data completeness, accuracy, reconciliation and auditability.
-   Manage workstream risks, dependencies, decisions and escalations.
-   **Advise clients and project teams** on the most appropriate migration tools and approaches.
-   **Collaborate with functional leads**, solution architects, integration teams, business process owners and programme leadership.
-   Lead and develop data migration consultants and client-side teams.
-   Contribute to proposals, client conversations and the development of migration methodologies and accelerators.

## Requirements

-   **7+ years of experience** in **SAP data migration** or **SAP transformation projects**
-   **Proven responsibility for leading a data migration workstream** within an **SAP S/4HANA implementation**, conversion or rollout.
-   Experience **migrating data from SAP ECC** or other legacy ERP platforms **to S/4HANA.**
-   **Strong knowledge of SAP master data**, transactional data and relevant SAP data structures.
-   A solid **understanding of the full migration lifecycle**, including profiling, cleansing, mapping, transformation, loading, validation and reconciliation.
-   Experience establishing migration governance, quality controls and cutover readiness.
-   **Familiarity with tools** such as SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services or comparable ETL and migration solutions.
-   **Confidence working with senior client** stakeholders and distributed international teams.
-   Experience coordinating or mentoring consultants and client-side delivery teams.
-   **Strong English** communication skills and **native Hungarian are a must**
-   **You are based in Budapest** as the role requires **presence in the office 2x per week**
-   **Availability for international travel** when required by the project.

**Additional experience that would be valuable:**

-   SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud experience.
-   Exposure to SAP MDG, master data management, data governance or data quality.
-   Experience with additional ETL or data migration platforms.
-   Relevant SAP or data migration certifications.
-   Previous experience in a global consulting or systems integration environment.
-   Experience supporting proposals, solutioning or business development activities.
