**Role Overview**

MSL Engineering Ltd is seeking a **Graduate Health, Safety & Environmental Officer** to join our growing team in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork. This role is ideal for a motivated graduate who is keen to build a long-term career in **Health & Safety and Environmental management** within a fast-paced engineering and construction environment.

The successful candidate will be fully supported and trained by MSL Engineering, including structured development toward key management systems and industry standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Assist in the implementation and maintenance of MSL’s Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) management systems
-   Support site teams in ensuring compliance with **Health & Safety legislation**, safe systems of work, and company procedures
-   Assist with risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), inspections, audits, and incident investigations
-   Promote a positive safety culture across projects and offices
-   Support environmental management initiatives and compliance requirements
-   Liaise with project managers, supervisors, and external stakeholders as required
-   Maintain accurate HSE documentation and records

**Training & Development**

MSL Engineering Ltd is committed to developing talent and will provide full training and mentoring, including exposure to:

-   **ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems**
-   **ISO 14001 – Environmental Management Systems**
-   Practical site-based experience across live mechanical engineering projects

## Requirements

-   Degree in **Environmental Science** OR

-   Diploma / Degree in **Safety, Health & Welfare at Work**, or other recognised equivalent
-   Strong interest in building a career in **Health, Safety and Environmental management**
-   Good communication and interpersonal skills
-   Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
-   Ability to work well as part of a team

**Desirable**

-   Placement or internship experience in HSE or construction/engineering (not essential)
-   Basic knowledge of Irish H&S and environmental legislation

-   Strong attention to detail
