**Contract:** Part time, 21 hours over 3 or 5 days, fixed term until September 2027

**Salary:** £15,277 per annum, pro rata (£25,462 per annum, full time equivalent)

We are currently looking for a Training Support Coordinator to join our team.

**About the role**

The Learning Team at MSSC is looking for a Training Support Coordinator (TSC) to join the team to support the work of our training delivery team. The Training Support Coordinator (TSC) works on the development and administration of processes and policies in support of the learning delivery team as we seek to enable our volunteers to deliver training to cadets and volunteers in line with the Sea Cadets Learning Strategy. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organised, and a good communicator. The work location can be flexible (home or office-based) requiring occasional evening working supporting our volunteers by attending virtual and in-person meetings at MSSC and Sea Cadet Corps (SCC)facilities, including MSSC National Support Centre in London.

**Responsibilities**

-   To coordinate and support administration related to White Fleet vehicle bookings in line with Road Transport Regulations
-   Processing of Recognition of Prior Learning and Experience (RPLE) requests and supporting the continual development of the process.
-   Processing of invoices and covering the approval of volunteer expenses for Training Manager leave.
-   To carry out other administrative duties including but not limited to: updating “Westminster” records to cadet and volunteer qualifications and appointments.
-   Support the Programmes and Virtual Training Manager with the coordination and delivery of appropriate MSSC and other approved training packages including BTEC, Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards and CyberFirst.

## Requirements

-   Experience in supporting a programme of training activity.

-   Experience following processes outlined in policies and operating standards.

-   Experience of working with volunteers to engage and influence.
