### Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced **SAP Basis Consultant** to manage, maintain, monitor, and support SAP landscapes and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in **SAP Basis administration**, SAP S/4HANA environments, system installations, upgrades, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, transport management, backup/recovery, and SAP system security.

**Automotive industry experience is preferred**, particularly candidates who have supported SAP environments for automotive OEMs, distributors, dealerships, or automotive-related organizations.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Perform day-to-day **SAP Basis administration** and technical support.
-   Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SAP systems.
-   Manage SAP landscapes across **Development, Quality Assurance, and Production** environments.
-   Perform SAP system monitoring and performance optimization.
-   Manage SAP transports using **CTS/TMS**.
-   Perform SAP system copies, refreshes, upgrades, patches, and kernel upgrades.
-   Manage SAP users, roles, authorizations, and technical security in coordination with security teams.
-   Monitor SAP system health, jobs, dumps, locks, and system logs.
-   Manage SAP background jobs and scheduling.
-   Perform database administration and monitoring for SAP systems.
-   Support **SAP HANA** database environments.
-   Manage SAP instances, work processes, RFC connections, and system parameters.
-   Perform backup, restore, and disaster recovery activities.
-   Troubleshoot SAP technical issues and coordinate with SAP functional/technical teams.
-   Support SAP interfaces and connectivity with external systems.
-   Support SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, upgrades, and transformation projects.
-   Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
-   Provide technical support during SAP implementation, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live activities.
-   Coordinate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams.
-   Ensure SAP systems follow appropriate security, availability, and performance standards.

## Requirements

### Requirements

-   **5+ years of experience** as an SAP Basis Consultant/Administrator.
-   Strong hands-on experience in **SAP Basis administration**.
-   Experience with **SAP S/4HANA** environments.
-   Strong experience with **SAP HANA database administration and monitoring**.
-   Experience with SAP installation, configuration, upgrades, patches, and kernel upgrades.
-   Experience with **Transport Management System (TMS/CTS)**.
-   Experience with system copies, refreshes, and migrations.
-   Experience with SAP performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
-   Experience with SAP background jobs, system logs, dumps, locks, and work processes.
-   Experience with SAP user administration and technical security.
-   Experience with RFC, connectivity, and SAP interfaces.
-   Experience with SAP backup and recovery processes.
-   Experience with disaster recovery and high-availability concepts is preferred.
-   Experience with SAP cloud environments such as **Azure, AWS, or SAP BTP** is an advantage.
-   Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
-   Excellent English communication skills.

### Automotive Experience – Preferred

-   **Automotive industry experience is preferred.**
-   Experience supporting SAP landscapes for **automotive OEMs, distributors, dealerships, or automotive service organizations** is an advantage.
-   Experience supporting large-scale SAP environments within the automotive industry is preferred.
-   Experience with automotive SAP implementations, migrations, upgrades, or transformations is a plus.

### Preferred Qualifications

-   SAP Basis certification is an advantage.
-   Strong experience with **SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA**.
-   Experience with SAP Solution Manager / SAP Cloud ALM is an advantage.
-   Experience with SAP Fiori technical administration is a plus.
-   Experience with SAP security and authorizations is an advantage.
-   Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
-   Experience with cloud infrastructure such as **Azure or AWS**.
-   Experience with SAP high availability and disaster recovery.
-   Experience with SAP system migration and upgrade projects.
-   Experience in the **GCC/Saudi market** is a plus.
-   Automotive industry experience is preferred.
