## Description

To prepare, modify, and maintain electrical drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and technical documentation for construction and engineering projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

-   Prepare detailed electrical drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and layouts using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
-   Develop electrical plans for power distribution, lighting systems, earthing, cable routing, and ELV systems.
-   Review engineering sketches, specifications, and design information to produce accurate technical drawings.
-   Coordinate with engineers, project teams, consultants, and clients regarding drawing requirements and revisions.
-   Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematic diagrams, panel layouts, and cable schedules.
-   Revise drawings based on site conditions, design changes, and client comments.
-   Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper document control procedures are followed.
-   Prepare material take-offs and quantities from approved drawings when required.
-   Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local regulations, and industry standards.
-   Support project execution teams with technical drafting and documentation requirements.
-   Assist in preparing submission packages for consultant and client approvals.
-   Maintain up-to-date records of approved and revised drawings.

Requirements

-   Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
-   Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in construction, industrial, infrastructure, or engineering projects.
-   Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
-   Experience preparing electrical shop drawings and as-built drawings.
-   GCC experience is preferred.
