## Description

National Star Services, a 27-year facility management company with nationwide operations, is hiring a skilled Industrial Mechanic/Technician to join a stable company in **Chicago, IL 60612.**

This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who wants to grow his maintenance career and values safety, teamwork, as well as quality work.

**What You’ll Do**

-   Troubleshoot and repair mechanical & electrical systems
-   Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
-   Fabricate and repair components as needed
-   Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission systems
-   Complete work orders using computer systems
-   Maintain safety and quality standards
-   Collaborate with team members on technical issues
-   Be available for overtime and on-call coverage when needed

**Qualifications**

-   Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
-   Strong mechanical & electrical troubleshooting skills
-   Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding **(Required)**
-   Manufacturing maintenance experience required
-   Basic computer skills for work orders
-   Reliable transportation
-   Bilingual (English/Spanish) **a plus**
-   Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
-   Ability to start ASAP
