## Description

Nation Security is looking for a dependable, professional **Security Officer** to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In this role, you will safeguard assigned facilities, respond to incidents, and protect sensitive information.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   **Patrol & Surveillance:** Monitor and secure designated areas to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or security breaches.
-   **Emergency Response:** Act swiftly and decisively during security incidents or emergencies.
-   **Incident Reporting:** Maintain accurate, detailed logs and submit timely reports regarding daily activities and unusual occurrences.
-   **Information Security:** Handle sensitive data with strict confidentiality and maintain high standards of professionalism at all times.

## Requirements

-   **Qualifications**

-   **Clearance:** Must possess or be eligible to obtain a **Confidential Security Clearance** (Required).
-   **Licensing:** Valid **Florida Security Class D License** required; Class G License is strongly preferred.
-   **Experience:** Background in security operations, military, or law enforcement.
-   **Certifications:** Valid Driver’s License (Required).
-   **Skills:** Excellent communication, situational awareness, and problem-solving abilities.
-   **Requirements:** Fluent in English; must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
-   **Commute:** Reliable transportation to work on-site in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
