## Description

**On behalf of our client, a dynamic company in the Shipping sector based in Marousi, we are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant. This role focuses on daily data entry, invoice processing, and financial support, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within maritime accounting.**

**Key Responsibilities**

-   **Data Entry: Accurately post and register daily accounting entries, supplier invoices, and vessel expenses into the ERP system.**
-   **Disbursements & Expenses: Assist in checking and processing port expenses, agency fees, and crew-related receipts.**
-   **Reconciliations: Support the team with basic supplier and bank account reconciliations.**
-   **Filing & Admin: Maintain organized physical and digital accounting archives.**

## Requirements

-   **Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in an accounting department.**
-   **Location: Based in or near Marousi / Northern Suburbs (for easy commuting).**
-   **Industry Passion: A strong desire to build a career and grow within the Shipping/Maritime sector.**
-   **Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.**
-   **Tech Skills: Good command of MS Excel and basic familiarity with ERP systems.**
-   **Languages: Good communication skills in both Greek and English.**

-   **Any basic exposure to shipping terminology (bunkers, port expenses, disbursements).**
