**POSITION SUMMARY**

As a Team Lead at New Flyer, you will take on a pivotal role in supervising and guiding a dedicated team within the production environment. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining high standards of quality. This position is Monday through Friday; 6:30am - 3pm. **Rate of pay is $35.75 per hour.**

**WHAT YOU WILL DO:**

-   Lead and supervise daily activities of the team to meet production targets.
-   Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
-   Implement best practices and company policies to enhance workflow and productivity.
-   Facilitate training and development opportunities for team members to improve skill sets.
-   Monitor production processes, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
-   Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
-   Maintain accurate documentation of production and labor data.
-   Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and management.
-   Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

## Requirements

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:**

-   Proven and consistent experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a manufacturing environment.
-   High school diploma or equivalent
-   Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-   Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
-   Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes.
-   Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
-   Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
-   Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
