## Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Yard Operative

**Location:** Sundon Park, Luton  
**Hours:** Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm  
**Pay Rate:** £13.50 per hour

## We are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Yard Operative to join our client based in Sundon Park, Luton.

This is a varied role that will involve both forklift driving and general yard duties. The successful candidate must be happy to work both on and off the forklift as part of a busy operation.

### Key Responsibilities:

-   Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
-   Loading and unloading vehicles
-   Moving stock and materials around the site
-   General yard maintenance and housekeeping
-   Sweeping, tidying and keeping the yard clean and organised
-   Assisting with waste management and recycling duties
-   Operating a baling machine (full training can be provided if required)
-   Supporting warehouse and production operations as needed
-   Adhering to all health and safety procedures

## Requirements

### Requirements:

-   Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent)
-   Previous forklift driving experience
-   Willingness to undertake manual duties and yard work
-   Reliable and hardworking attitude
-   Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-   Good awareness of health and safety procedures
