## Description

Newstaff Employment Services is currently seeking a dedicated **Production Operative** to join our team at the Letchworth site on a 8.30am - 5pm shift. This role involves working on the production line to support the manufacturing process, ensuring products are made to the highest quality standards efficiently and safely.

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling parts, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean and safe workplace. We welcome candidates who are hardworking, reliable, and keen to develop their skills in a collaborative environment.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Operate production equipment safely and effectively following established procedures.
-   Assemble products and components accurately to meet quality standards.
-   Carry out regular quality inspections and report any defects.
-   Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
-   Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets.
-   Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
-   Report any machinery faults or safety concerns promptly.

## Requirements

-   Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
-   Ability to work efficiently within a team and follow instructions.
-   Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
-   Reliable and punctual with good time management skills.
-   Willingness to work flexible shifts as required.
-   Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a production setting.
