## Description

**Laminating Press Operator**

**£13.00 per hour to start | Full-time | Monday–Friday | No weekends**

We are currently recruiting for a **Laminating Press Operator** to join our client’s manufacturing team

This is a great opportunity for someone with **manufacturing, production, machine operating or mechanical experience** who is looking for a stable role with the opportunity to develop and increase their pay.

**What you'll be doing**

-   Operating and monitoring laminating press machinery
-   Preparing and maintaining rollers and materials
-   Checking finished products for quality, dimensions and defects
-   Carrying out tear tests and other quality checks
-   Following production instructions, drawings and specifications
-   Identifying and reporting machine or production issues
-   Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
-   Following company quality, safety and **AS9100** procedures

**What we're looking for**

We're looking for candidates who are:

-   Mechanically minded and confident working with machinery
-   Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
-   Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
-   Able to follow detailed instructions and work to precise specifications
-   A good eye for detail with a strong focus on quality
-   Ideally experienced in manufacturing, production or machine operation

**2+ years of relevant experience is desirable, but candidates with transferable skills will also be considered.**

**Pay & Progression**

**Starting rate: £13.00 per hour**

The starting rate will depend on your experience and performance during the skills assessment. There is **scope for the rate to increase** for candidates who perform well and successfully progress through the **three-month probationary period**.

**Working Hours**

**Monday – Thursday:** 7:00am – 4:00pm  
**Friday:** 7:00am – 1:00pm
