## Description

Newstaff Employment Services are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated **Machine Operative** to join our client in **Leighton Buzzard**. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with ongoing training and development prospects.

As a Machine Operative, you will be expected to set up machines, monitor their operation, carry out quality checks, and perform routine maintenance tasks.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Operating and monitoring production machinery safely and efficiently.
-   Setting up and adjusting machines as required.
-   Performing quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
-   Carrying out routine cleaning and maintenance of machinery.
-   Reporting any faults or issues to supervisors promptly.
-   Adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
-   Working effectively within a team to meet production targets.

## Requirements

-   Previous experience as a Machine Operative or in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
-   Ability to work accurately and pay attention to detail.
-   Good manual dexterity and technical aptitude.
-   Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
-   Ability to work flexible shifts if required.
-   Understanding of health and safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
-   Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
