## Description

Newstaff Employment Services is seeking a reliable and skilled **Warehouse Counterbalance Driver** to join our team in Luton. In this role, you will be responsible for operating counterbalance forklifts to efficiently move, load, and stack goods within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your contribution is crucial to ensuring smooth warehouse operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety and accuracy. ### Responsibilities

-   Operate counterbalance forklifts to transport goods safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
-   Perform daily vehicle checks and report any faults promptly.
-   Load and unload deliveries, ensuring correct placement and stacking of items.
-   Assist with order picking and stock replenishment tasks.
-   Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety policies.
-   Collaborate with warehouse staff to meet daily operational targets.

## Requirements

-   Valid Counterbalance Forklift License.
-   Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse setting.
-   Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
-   Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
-   Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
-   Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
-   Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.

## Benefits

**Hours:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (half-hour break) – **no weekends**

£14.00 per hour
