We are seeking dedicated and compassionate **SEND and SEMH Support Staff** to work within schools and educational provisions supporting children and young people with **Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)** and **Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)** needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting pupils who require additional academic, emotional, and behavioural support to access education successfully.

**The Role:**

-   Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND and SEMH needs
-   Support students with learning, emotional regulation, and behaviour strategies
-   Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning activities
-   Promote positive engagement and inclusion within the classroom
-   Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies
-   Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
-   Support safeguarding and wellbeing at all times

## Requirements

-   Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND and SEMH needs

**Desirable not essential**

-   Experience working with children or young people (school, care, youth work, or similar)
-   Understanding of SEND and/or SEMH needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, anxiety, behavioural needs)
-   Calm, patient, and resilient approach
-   Strong communication and teamwork skills
-   Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
-   Right to work in the UK
