## Description

Our client is seeking a German-speaking Collections Officer to join their Malta team. Reporting directly to the German Team Leader, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for sales, customer onboarding, handling inquiries, and liaising with the collections department.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide accurate information to customers regarding the bank’s products, services, and payments
-   Actively solicit new sales following the company’s strategy and guidelines
-   Respond to customer queries via telephone, live chat, email, and SMS
-   Support onboarding processes, including document verification
-   Work closely with other departments, particularly payments and collections, to ensure smooth operations
-   Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment
-   Promote excellent customer experiences in all interactions
-   Clarify and complete other assigned tasks as required

### Additional Responsibilities

-   Assist in creating sales reports
-   Support training and mentoring of new team members
-   Help document operational procedures
-   Suggest improvements to systems, processes, and workflows
-   Complete ad hoc tasks assigned by the Head of New Markets

## Requirements

-   Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
-   Experience in customer service and sales of financial products
-   Experience with client onboarding and document verification
-   Strong communication skills with a results-oriented mindset
-   Detail-oriented, proactive, and high personal work standards
-   Team player with strong customer service focus
-   Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
-   Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
