As a Landscape Crew Member, you will help maintain the community’s parks, trails, roadways, common areas, and amenities by providing exceptional landscape care and attention to detail. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in their work, and are committed to maintaining high standards of appearance, and safety.

**Responsibilities:**

-   Maintain assigned landscape areas through mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and general landscape upkeep.
-   Assist in maintaining the overall beauty, cleanliness, and curb appeal of community common areas, park, trails, and amenity properties.
-   Monitor landscape conditions and report irrigation, plant health, or maintenance concerns to leadership.
-   Remove weeds, debris, and unwanted vegetation from assigned areas.
-   Pick up and properly dispose of litter and debris throughout community properties.
-   Help ensure all landscaped areas remain clean, attractive, and welcoming for residents and visitors.
-   Maintain a high level of attention to detail while completing assigned tasks.
-   Safely operate landscape equipment, tools, and machinery in accordance with department standards.
-   Perform routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
-   Clean, organize, and properly store tools, equipment, and supplies after use.
-   Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions, hazards, or damaged equipment immediately.
-   Work collaboratively with fellow crew members to complete daily assignments efficiently and safely.
-   Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with residents, guests, vendors and coworkers.
-   Report suspicious activity, unattended items, or conditions that may create safety concerns to a supervisor.
-   Assist with special projects, community events, storm preparation, and recovery efforts, as needed

## Requirements

-   Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
-   Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials, tools, and equipment on a regular basis.
-   Previous landscape maintenance experience preferred but not required.
-   Ability to safely operate landscape equipment or willingness to learn.
-   Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
-   Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-   Valid driver’s license preferred.
