Join Novo Holdings’ Finance organisation as Senior Procurement Specialist and play a key role in delivering procurement services to the Novo Nordisk Foundation, driving strategic procurement and helping further strengthen procurement capabilities across the Foundation in close collaboration with Novo Holdings.

### About Finance

This role is anchored in the Procurement team within Finance at Novo Holdings. The Procurement team is responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier management and procurement excellence across the organisation, while also supporting the Novo Nordisk Foundation through a Service Level Agreement.

Finance at Novo Holdings supports a purpose-driven holding and investment organisation with a complex legal entity setup and international footprint. The Finance organisation includes Accounting, Reporting and Controlling, Tax, Valuation, Investment Operations, Procurement and Workplace and Facility Management, and is responsible for delivering a broad range of financial and operational services across Novo Holdings.

As part of the Procurement function, you will work alongside a Senior Procurement Specialist supporting Novo Holdings. Together, you will share knowledge, drive best practices and contribute to the continued development of Procurement across both organisations.

### The Role

While employed by Novo Holdings, you will be dedicated to supporting the Novo Nordisk Foundation under a Service Level Agreement between the two organisations. As Senior Procurement Specialist, you will act as a trusted procurement partner, leading strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier and contract management, and driving procurement excellence across a broad portfolio of indirect procurement categories.

The role has a strong focus on IT, Professional Services and Facility Management, including procurement support for the establishment of the Novo Nordisk Foundation's new headquarters, scheduled for completion in 2028. Working closely with stakeholders across the Novo Nordisk Foundation and colleagues in Novo Holdings, you will ensure commercially sound, compliant and value-creating procurement decisions while fostering strong supplier relationships.

You will manage a procurement portfolio with an annual spend of approximately DKK 250 million, balancing strategic sourcing, supplier performance, risk management and stakeholder engagement to deliver sustainable value and support the Foundation's long-term objectives.

### Your tasks will include

-   Lead procurement activities supporting the Novo Nordisk Foundation under a service level agreement
-   Drive sourcing projects, supplier selection and commercial negotiations
-   Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, value and performance
-   Develop and continuously improve procurement processes, policies and best practices for the Novo Nordisk Foundation
-    Act as the procurement subject matter expert and trusted advisor to stakeholders across the Novo Nordisk Foundation
-   Drive contract management and ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations
-   Identify and realise cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier optimisation
-   Monitor procurement performance and contribute to reporting, KPIs and continuous improvement
-   Collaborate closely with the Senior Procurement Specialist supporting Novo Holdings to leverage synergies, share best practices and ensure alignment across the Procurement function
-   Partner with colleagues across Novo Holdings and the Novo Nordisk Foundation to deliver efficient, compliant and value-creating procurement

### Qualifications

-   Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
-   5+ years of procurement experience from a senior role in an international organisation
-   Proven experience in procurement, sourcing and supplier management
-   Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships
-   Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
-   Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g. ERP systems and e-procurement platforms). Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Continia is an advantage
-   Solid understanding of contract law, procurement regulations and compliance requirements
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
-   Professional proficiency in Danish and English, written and spoken
