NOW Courier is seeking a friendly, customer focused Independent Contractor to service a dedicated delivery route within our established **Fort Wayne, IN** operation. ### Your Mission

-   **Deliver with Clockwork Precision:** Ensure that cargo is picked up and delivered to our valued customers on time, maintaining NOW Courier's reputation for reliability and punctuality.
-   **Route Mastery:** Utilize GPS or mapping software to plan and follow efficient routes, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal fuel usage.
-   **Exceptional Customer Service:** Greet customers with professionalism and warmth, handling questions or issues with empathy.
-   **Problem Solving Skills:** Think quickly and adapt when faced with challenges such as traffic delays or address changes to ensure smooth and efficient deliveries.

### Route Details & Schedule (Fort Wayne Area)

-   **Compensation:** **$160 per day** (Average weekly commission: **$480**).
-   **Schedule:** Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
-   **Start/End Time:** 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM (Headquarters).
-   **Required Vehicle:** SUV or larger.
-   **Weekly Mileage:** Approximately 120 miles per route.
-   **Daily Stops:** Approximately 10.
-   **Geographical Area:** Fort Wayne, Warsaw, Goshen, Elkhart, South Bend, Mishawaka, and Granger.
-   **Sorting:** Minimal.

## Requirements

### Vehicle Requirements:

-   Candidates must possess an **SUV or larger vehicle**.
-   The vehicle must be **2016 model year or newer**. This ensures the vehicle meets modern safety and reliability standards and provides adequate space for cargo.

To maintain our industry leading fleet of professional drivers, you must meet the following:

-   **Age:** Be at least 21 years of age.
-   **Vehicle:** Own a vehicle that can pass a multi point inspection and is suitable for delivery.
-   **Smartphone:** Possess a smartphone capable of running our driver app.
-   **Licensing & Insurance:** Hold a valid driver's license and commercial insurance coverage with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.
-   **Pre Employment Screening:** You must successfully pass a comprehensive pre employment process before beginning work, which includes a Driving History Review (past 36 months), Criminal Background Check, and Substance Abuse (Drug) Screening.
