This position works collaboratively with classroom teachers and school administration to provide a safe, positive, and supportive environment for students throughout the school day. During the academic day, the Recreation Leader & Student Support assists classroom teachers with small-group instruction, with an emphasis on Language Arts and reading support. All academic support is provided under the direction and guidance of the core classroom teacher, principal and curriculum coordinator.
