## Description

### About Oath

Oath helps Democratic donors give with impact. We are a donor-first platform that turns political data into clear, objective guidance on where a contribution will matter most, and then makes giving to those races simple.

Political giving is noisy. Donors are flooded with urgent emails and texts and have little way to judge which appeals matter. Oath closes that information gap. Our impact scoring weighs race competitiveness, district fundamentals and chamber control, so donors can see the relative value of their dollars across federal, statewide, state legislative and local races. We don't charge candidates, we don't sell donor data, and our recommendations aren't for sale.
Oath has processed over $100M dollars to thousands of candidates and organizations. Every federal Democratic candidate is now on the platform, and we are building for a step change in scale in the cycles ahead.

Oath is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own product strategy and execution. In this senior individual contributor role, you will set the roadmap, make clear trade-offs under uncertainty, and ship with engineering, design, data and our political team against immovable election deadlines.
You will report to the COO and partner closely with engineering leadership. You will also help shape how product is practiced at Oath as the team grows: how we write specs, think about utilizing AI, measure outcomes and decide what to build next.

## Requirements

- Own the product vision, strategy and multi-cycle roadmap for Oath's donor platform, grounded in donor research, data and the political landscape.
- Lead products from problem definition through launch and iteration, writing the PRDs and strategy docs that align engineering, design and data on goals, trade-offs and success metrics.
- Set and track goals for donor acquisition, retention and dollars directed, and find new growth loops such as peer-to-peer and recurring giving.
- Partner with the political and research team to evolve how we score race impact and turn it into donor-facing experiences.
- Work with engineering leadership on technical direction and platform scale, especially ahead of high-volume moments such as deadlines and Election Day.
- Drive AI enablement and adoption for the organization, including implementing new tooling and integrations that advance product goals while maintaining donor privacy.
- Protect donor trust in every product decision: privacy, objective recommendations and campaign finance compliance.
- Communicate strategy and progress to leadership, investors and partners, and raise the bar for product thinking across the team.

### Minimum Qualifications

- 6+ years of product management or related experience, including ownership of a consumer or marketplace product from strategy through launch.
- Experience defining product vision and roadmap for a product area, and influencing cross-functional partners without direct authority.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams on technical trade-offs, system design and delivery planning.
- Experience using data to make product decisions: defining metrics, running experiments and analyzing results (for example, with SQL or a comparable analytics tool).
- Track record of shipping products that drove measurable growth, engagement or revenue.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including writing product strategy and requirements documents.

### Preferred Qualifications

- 8+ years of product management experience, including leading strategy across multiple teams and mentoring other product managers.
- Experience as an early product hire, or building product processes at a high-growth startup.
- Experience with payments, fundraising or other transactional consumer products.
- Experience with recommendation, ranking or referral and growth systems.
- Familiarity with political campaigns, campaign finance or civic technology.
- Hands-on use of AI tools for research, specs and prototyping.
