We are actively seeking an **Treasury Assistant** to join our offices in Elefsina. The **Treasury Assistant** will be responsible for will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day treasury and cash management activities of the company, ensuring accurate bank reconciliations, monitoring cash movements, and assisting with the management and collection of outstanding receivable ### Responsibilities - Monitor and update daily bank account transactions and ensure accurate recording of cash movements. - Perform regular bank account reconciliations and investigate and resolve any discrepancies. - Monitor cash balances and assist with daily cash flow management and liquidity monitoring. - Reconcile customer account balances and follow up on outstanding receivables to support timely collections. - Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients to assess creditworthiness and support effective credit risk management. - Monitor accounts receivable, identify overdue balances, and communicate with customers regarding outstanding payments. - Maintain accurate records of customer balances, collections, and payment status. - Assist in the development and implementation of procedures and controls related to treasury operations, receivables, and credit risk management. - Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal departments to resolve payment issues and facilitate timely collections. - Prepare regular reports on cash balances, bank reconciliations, receivables, collections, credit checks, and overall treasury activities for management. ## Requirements - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships and negotiating with clients - Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills to assess risks and make informed recommendations - Ability to tactfully persuade clients and negotiate repayment plans - ERP systems experience (e.g., F&O, Navision, SAP) - Strong command of Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - Advanced business writing and oral communication skills in both Greek and English ### **To qualify for the role, you must have:** - Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting or related field. - Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or collections within the **preferably in logistics industry** ## Benefits - Competitive remuneration package - Life and medical insurance. - Provision of technological equipment. - Excellent career opportunities and learning development. - Modern and friendly working environment. - Working within an outstanding Team of experts in a dynamic and fast-growing organization. **Next Steps** If you are interested in the above role, then click to apply and get the conversation going!
