We are looking for a highly motivated **Line Responsible – Road Freight Forwarding** to join our dynamic Freight Fowarding team in Sindos, Thessaloniki As a **Line Responsible**, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of international road transportation operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and operational excellence. ### **Responsibilities:** - Coordinate and manage international road freight shipments from order receipt to final delivery. - Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, carriers, and overseas partners. - Plan and optimize transportation solutions, ensuring cost efficiency and service quality. - Monitor shipment progress and proactively communicate updates to customers and stakeholders. - Arrange and manage full truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL), and groupage shipments. - Liaise with carriers, subcontractors, warehouses, customs brokers, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations. - Negotiate transportation rates and service agreements with carriers. - Resolve operational issues and transportation disruptions promptly and professionally. - Ensure accurate preparation and processing of transport documentation, including CMRs and customs-related documents where applicable. - Monitor operational costs, profitability, and service performance of assigned traffic lanes. - Maintain accurate shipment records and update transport management systems. - Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable transportation regulations. ## Requirements - Good understanding of international road transportation networks and freight forwarding processes. - Experience coordinating FTL, LTL, and groupage shipments will be considered an asset. - Familiarity with transport documentation and customs procedures. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. - Commercial awareness and cost-conscious mindset. - Customer-oriented approach. - Excellent communication, negotiation skills and customer-oriented approach. - Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. - Advanced business writing and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English. ### **To qualify for the role, you must have:** - Degree from a Vocational Training Institute (IEK), Higher Educational Institution (AEI), University, or equivalent professional experience in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - 4-6 years of previous experience in Road Freight Forwarding, Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Operations. ## Benefits - Competitive remuneration package - Life and medical insurance. - Provision of technological equipment. - Excellent career opportunities and learning development. - Modern and friendly working environment. - Working within an outstanding Team of experts in a dynamic and fast-growing organization. ### **Next Steps:** If you are interested in the above role, then click to apply and get the conversation going!
