Octal Philippines Inc. is a leading IT solutions company that provides innovative technology services to various clients. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Platform Engineering Services team as an Infrastructure Specialist.

**Role and Responsibilities:**  
As an Infrastructure Specialist in the Platform Engineering Services team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and ensure efficient and effective infrastructure operations. Your responsibilities will include:

-   Designing and implementing scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions
-   Deploying, configuring, and managing infrastructure components such as servers, storage, virtualization, and networking
-   Performing system administration and troubleshooting tasks to maintain optimal system performance and security
-   Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement infrastructure best practices and standards
-   Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements
-   Monitoring and optimizing infrastructure performance and capacity

## Requirements

**Requirements:**  
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

-   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
-   Lead technical team and be the first point of contact for operation needs (2-3yrs experience as TeamLead)
-   Minimum of 3 years of experience in infrastructure design, implementation, and support
-   Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with server administration, storage management, virtualization, and networking
-   Windows, VMware, RHEL, MS SQL, Citrix (3/5)
-   Knowledge of security best practices and regulatory compliance
-   Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
-   Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

**Good to have:**

-   Understand ITIL Practice
-   Knowledge on networking in IT Infrastructure
-   Understand IT Security (Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing)
-   CISA or CompTIA Security training/certification
