### Metal Shop Lead – 2nd Shift

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM  
**Pay:** $18.00–$21.00 per hour (based on experience)

### Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated **Metal Shop Lead** to oversee our client's 2nd shift production team. This role is responsible for leading daily operations, ensuring quality standards are met, maintaining a safe work environment, and helping the team achieve production goals.

### Responsibilities

-   Lead and support the 2nd shift production team.
-   Assign work and monitor workflow to meet production schedules.
-   Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
-   Train, coach, and assist team members as needed.
-   Promote and enforce workplace safety procedures.
-   Troubleshoot production issues and communicate with management.
-   Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
-   Maintain a clean and organized work area.
-   Complete production reports and other required documentation.

## Requirements

### Qualifications

-   Previous experience in a metal fabrication, manufacturing, or machine shop environment.
-   Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
-   Must be able to read a tape measurer
-   Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
-   Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
-   Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

## Benefits

Competitive pay: **$18.00–$21.00 per hour**, depending on experience. This is a **temp-to-hire** position with the opportunity to become a full-time employee and receive additional benefits upon permanent hire.
