## Description

**Okie Staffing has a position open for a Paint Prep Technician for a reputable aviation manufacturing company. This is a long-term temporary position with the potential to convert to full-time for the right candidate.**

**This role focuses on preparing aircraft components for the paint process. If you have strong attention to detail and a solid work history, this is a great entry point into the aerospace industry.**

**Location:** Jenks, OK

**Schedule:** Monday – Friday

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

**Pay:** $16.00 – $18.00/hour (DOE)

**Overtime:** As required

### What You’ll Be Doing

-   Tape and mask parts prior to painting
-   Prepare surfaces for paint (cleaning, sanding, prepping)
-   Handle small aircraft components with care and precision
-   Follow safety procedures including proper use of PPE (respirator when required)
-   Support production team to ensure parts are ready for finishing

### What We’re Looking For

-   High School Diploma or GED **(required for future conversion)**
-   Good, stable work history (required)
-   Ability to work with hands and follow detailed instructions
-   Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment
-   Light experience with hand tools preferred (not required)
-   Previous production or prep experience is a plus, but **not required**

## Requirements

-   Must be able to pass a **DOT Drug Screen (UA)**
-   Ability to wear a respirator when needed
-   Must be dependable and safety-focused
