**Position Summary**

We are looking for a Product Owner (Mid-Level or Senior) _**based in Peru**_ to lead the definition and execution of key product initiatives, especially in the payments and fintech domains across Peru, Mexico, Colombia, and other future markets. You will work in a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating with both local and international stakeholders. This is a remote role with direct reporting to our Product Leadership team. Spanish and English are the primary working languages for this role, with both being mandatory. 

The ideal candidate has a strong product mindset, experience delivering impactful solutions, and a deep understanding of the LATAM fintech/payments landscape.  
  
**Key Responsibilities**

-   Define and own the product roadmap, aligning it with company goals and priorities. 

-   Gather and analyze business requirements, transforming them into clear, actionable user stories with defined acceptance criteria. 

-   Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical complexity, and customer impact. 

-   Facilitate communication and alignment across tech, product, and business stakeholders. 

-   Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery. 

-   Perform acceptance testing and validation of new features before release. 

-   Monitor and analyze product performance using tools such as Power BI or similar; iterate based on data and user feedback. 

-   Contribute to post-launch processes, including documentation, knowledge sharing, and product training. 

-   Own and manage the payments squad covering Peru, Mexico, Colombia, and future LATAM markets, ensuring roadmap alignment across all countries. 

-   Monitor and manage payment acceptance rates with providers and merchants in each market, proactively identifying and addressing drops or anomalies in performance. 

-   Maintain active product-level relationships with payment providers in the countries we operate, collaborating with their product teams to align on roadmaps, integrations, and new capabilities. 

-   Ensure compliance with local payment regulations in Peru, Mexico, Colombia, and other markets, staying up to date on regulatory changes that may impact product strategy.

## Requirements

**Education**

-   Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related fields.

**Experience** 

-   Proven experience as a Product Owner or in similar product execution role. 

-   Domain knowledge in fintech, payments, or consumer platforms within the LATAM region. **Experience in Peru (primarily), Mexico, and Colombia is highly desirable.** 

-   Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). 

-   Demonstrated ability to manage product delivery in cross-functional, remote teams. 

-   Strong knowledge of product discovery, backlog management, and stakeholder alignment. 
-   Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, and Monday.com. 

-   Knowledge of SQL and observability/monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Kibana) is considered a strong differentiator in the selection process. 

-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

-   Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management capabilities.
