## Description

One Park Dominicana (“OPD”) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Health Specialist to provide comprehensive medical care to our employees. The ideal candidate will be a certified physician with a strong commitment to employee well-being and a proactive approach to health management. This role requires excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently within a corporate environment.

Main responsibilities:

-   Provide primary medical care, diagnosis, and treatment for employees experiencing illness or injury during working hours.
-   Conduct routine health check-ups, preventative screenings, and wellness consultations.
-   Administer first aid and emergency medical care as needed.
-   Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and refer employees to specialists when necessary.
-   Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all employee interactions.
-   Coordinate along with HR department Health Fairs and activities, and make suggestions on needs throughout the organization.
-   Occupational Health & Safety:
-   Collaborate with HR and Safety departments to develop and implement health and wellness programs.
-   Advise on workplace safety issues and participate in incident investigations related to employee health.
-   Provide guidance on infectious disease control and public health matters within the workplace.

## Requirements

-   Medical Doctor (M.D. or D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
-   Exequatur.
-   Clinical experience, preferably in an occupational health setting, urgent care, or primary care.
-   Strong diagnostic and clinical judgment skills.
-   Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with employees at all levels.
-   Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of medical information.
