**Position**: General Accountant

### **About the Role**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled **General Accountant** to manage the end-to-end accounting processes for US-based companies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in US GAAP, proficiency in managing accounting platforms, and a strong background in working with American companies. This is a fully remote position requiring a dedicated and exclusive work-from-home setup.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   **Bookkeeping**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
-   **Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable**: Manage AP/AR processes, including billing, invoicing, and payment tracking.
-   **Reconciliation**: Perform periodic reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial records.
-   **Month-End and Year-End Closings**: Ensure timely and accurate financial closings, including journal entries and adjustments.
-   **Financial Reporting & Analysis**: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
-   **Budgeting & Tracking**: Develop budgets, monitor expenses, and track financial performance against projections.
-   **Compliance**: Ensure adherence to US GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
-   **Software Utilization**: Work efficiently using accounting platforms like QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, SAP, and similar tools.
-   **Communication & Collaboration**: Coordinate with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to address financial inquiries and reporting needs.

### **Qualifications**

-   **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-   **Certifications**: CPA or equivalent certification is required. QuickBooks Certification or similar platform-specific certifications are a plus.
-   **Experience**:

-   Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting.
-   Proven experience working with US-based companies.
-   In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and related compliance requirements.

-   **Technical Skills**:

-   Proficiency with accounting software, including QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, SAP, or similar platforms.
-   Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
